There’s Change In Store

Doubling down on a longstanding promise to be a brand “that always drives progress”, Progresif Sdn. Bhd., today, unveiled a plan to transform their retail spaces and operations in order to better accommodate the changing needs and habits of the 21st Century consumer.

Progresif announced multiple new phases of their retail transformation plan, which seeks to re-imagine the way customers are served through three new key developments – the launch of Progresif Street Teams, transformative renovations to their stores to accommodate a new experience , and closures to their An-Nuha (Tanjung Bunut) and Kuala Belait Stores to create agile sales representative teams which get into the community through pop-ups around the nation.

Since the establishment of Unified National Networks (UNN) and the subsequent telco relaunch at the beginning of 2020, this year has seen unprecedented movement in Brunei’s communications industry. For Progresif, after launching their new One Home and One Mobile data plans in early February, the brand accelerated the development of an online sales platform with door-to-door delivery for their products in order to cope with stay-at-home orders during April through June. With more than 1,000 orders delivered in the first three months, Progresif made a decision to continue the rollout of their retail transformation – the next phase of which, they have just announced.

According to Devin Edwards, who is leading the retail transformation project, “the public can expect a fresh new retail environment that better incorporates all of our digital products and services like Progresif Media, PAY, Events, and some exciting new products that are soon to be announced”. This fresh new experience, according to the brand, will also see Progresif Street Teams changing the direction of the current sales dynamic, with Progresif coming to consumers instead of the other way round.

“One of our first new engagements will be a sales roadshow later this month where we will be embedded at the Ministry of Finance and Economy, promoting our data plans, new devices, and also continuing our advocacy towards progress for Environment, Entrepreneurship, Education and Arts and Culture”, said Progresif Head of Brand Strategy, Hafiza Mohamad. “It’s an exciting time to be a Progresif, and our plan is to make it equally exciting to be one of our customers”.
