Progresif Donates 8 Computers to SMARTER Brunei as part of their TechCare Outreach Initiative

As a generous gesture to support the non-profit organization dedicated to aiding individuals with autism, Progresif Sdn Bhd announced its donation of 8 personal computers (PC) to SMARTER Brunei. This donation is aimed at enhancing the learning experience for their students and providing new digital adoption opportunities for them.

The handover took place earlier this week at SMARTER E.D.G.E Centre located in Kampong Mata-Mata, and present on behalf of the company was Progresif's Head of IT and Application, Mohammad Fauzi Bin Haji Md Yassin.

Following the successful implementation of internet connectivity at the center as part of the Donate Data campaign, Progresif further aims to cater to the students’ digital and online learning. The Progresif TechCare Outreach emphasizes both the progressive nature of the initiative and its focus on providing those who need technological support.

"As a company, we are deeply committed to making a positive impact in our communities. Our donation to SMARTER Brunei reflects our belief in the power of education and our commitment to supporting individuals with autism as means of inclusivity to all. It is a privilege for us to assist SMARTER in providing digital tools and to support the organization's goal of empowering and creating a supportive atmosphere for students with autism." said Puan Hjh Nurul Haniah Haji Jaafar, CEO of Progresif.

Considering that SMARTER Brunei’s teaching is based on visual and hands-on learning, the computers will enable students to access interactive learning materials tailored to their individual needs while also enabling them to better understand motor skills and readily adopt modern technologies. This technology will not only supplement classroom instruction but also empower
students to develop essential digital skills for the future.

“In keeping in line with Wawasan 2035, SDG goals and the fast-paced technological driven world, Progresif has provided us with the leap in progression that is needed to keep our individuals with autism progressive. Staying true to the SMARTER Motto of no one left behind we are proud and deeply humbly grateful to Progresif for this most generous sponsorship” said Sharifah Adila Surya Binti Malai Hj Abdullah CEO of SMARTER Brunei.

"We are thrilled to be able to support the incredible work being done at SMARTER Brunei. We believe that every child deserves access to quality education and so we are proud to contribute to creating an all-embracing learning environment." said Mohammad Fauzi.

In line with one of Progresif’s fundamental CSR initiatives, “Progress for Education,” thecompany’s unwavering commitment to educational initiatives strives to make a positive impact and create a more inclusive society for all.
