As the nation’s combat the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic, Progresif quickly joined effort with Society for Community Outreach and Training (SCOT) under its Social Kitchen Programme in supplying 400 packed meals for frontliners who have worked tirelessly to keep our country safe and to the COVID-19 patients at the isolation centers in Brunei.
Progresif Chief Executive Officer, Hajah Nurul Haniah binti Haji Jaafar along with Progresif employees lend a helping hand in handing over the packed meals donation to various locations such as RIPAS Sports Complex, the Games Village, Bridex, Indoor Stadium and National Isolation Centres.
“The same way we have supported SCOT’s Social Kitchen last year, we will continue to lend our time and effort to ensure our CSR Partners and the communities that depend on us will not be left behind” said Hajah Nurul Haniah Hj Md Jaafar, Chief Executive Officer of Progresif.
The Social Kitchen aimed to help empowered mothers from socio-economically challenged background by preparing packed meals and at the same time to train them on building their own businesses. Up to date, SCOT have received donation for frontliners initiatives amounting to 2500 cooked meals.
