Progresif Holds YO! Day In The Heart of Brunei

Progresif Sdn Bhd held YO! day today at Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas in celebration of the brand’s new product launch Progresif Prepaid YO! The event was attended by special guest, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad, Minister of Ministry of Culture Youth and Sports, who officiated the event.

Also in attendance was the Permanent Secretary of Yang Mulia Haji Zakaria bin Haji Serudin, Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Culture Youth and Sports.

The brand name or the acronym of the new prepaid product, YO! was created with the ideology of building ‘Your Own’ plan. For only $10, customers can get a YO! Free SIM with $10 preloaded credit and build their own prepaid through the Progresif CARE+ app and then simply select their preferred Add-ons. YO! Prepaid allows customers to customise their plans based on their needs and budget, with no monthly fee and a variety of options for Add-ons for Data, Talk N Text, and a Combo pack option, all at an affordable price.

Thousands of Progresif enthusiasts attended the event to partake in the street festival atmosphere as the company promoted their established and newly released plans, Apps, products, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Progresif as a brand and a corporate identity places a high value on a collaborative and community-based culture within the company because they feel that the culture, they develop internally fuels what they aspire to give for Brunei. 

 

Expressed in a speech delivered by the company’s Chief Executive officer, Hjh Nurul Haniah Binti Haji Jaafar, Progresif is excited to build on this momentum of delivering the best possible experience while driving innovation to help the people of Brunei live an inspired and connected life.

Using this launch event as a platform for exposure, we are happy to collaborate with Progresif once again to give this opportunity to many local youth and small businesses who have different skills, ideas, and talents and to connect them to the wider community. “

Yang Berhormat Dato also officiated the brand-new E-Top Affiliate programme, which will provide accessibility and ease for Progresif’s customers and partners. Their promise to the new E-Top Affiliate Program is to provide increased earnings potential for anyone selling Progresif top-up cards.

Progresif also devoted the YO! day as part of Plastic Free July, a global movement to be part of the solution to plastic waste that is harming our environment – so we can have cleaner streets, oceans, and beautiful communities. As part of the brand’s CSR – the event serves as a reminder of Progresif’s commitment to pledge against using single-use plastic to make efforts for a cleaner and healthier environment in Brunei.

Centered around the theme “Building Your Own”, the event also features a variety of competitions as well as activities and workshops, encouraging the public to explore their own creative side and create their own unique crafts. Batik canting competition, kite making and cube weaving with Mandaram Besar Longhouse were among the events.

This YO! day, exhibits Progresif’s role in the community in offering affordable and creative products and services while at the same time bringing together the aspects of Education, Entrepreneurship, Arts & Culture, and the Environment together to create an amazing synergy
and making a good social impact.
