It is my absolute pleasure to welcome you to the inaugural launch of Progresif’s Digital Wallet, DING!
In Progresif, our vision is “To deliver connectivity and innovative services to drive a more inclusive digital economy for Brunei and beyond.”
Today's launch aligns with the Digital Economy Masterplan Vision of achieving a “Smart Nation through Digital Transformation” because it is our belief that to be a smart nation, we must be enabled by a digital society.
His Majesty in his recent Titah announced that efforts should be made in generating growth in cashless transactions through various platforms in order to create a conducive business ecosystem, AND today’s launch is a step towards that direction.
From the outset, Progresif has been a beacon of innovation. We’ve always seen ourselves as more than just a telco, daring to explore in the digital media space, the event domains as well as the realm of digital payment. We saw an opportunity to be part of a bigger ecosystem. an ecosystem that complements the country’s digital transformation
Why we do what we do- is always with the aim of enriching the lives of our customers by delivering added value and convenience.
Just on payment innovation alone-
• 2018- We launched the first mobile wallet with Progresif PAY, in partnership with BIBD, giving VALUE to our customers with a ‘first cashless transaction’ experience.
• 2019-Progresif Events: an online event and ticketing platform giving customers and event organisers operational efficiency and seamless experience, while contributing to environmental sustainability.
• 2022- Progresif CARE+, Brunei’s first self-care app which allows customers to do more than just the typical telecommunication transactions, piloting – Direct Carrier Billing, seamlessly purchasing items & directly charging it to your mobiile line
• And with the approval to operate a payment system by BDCB in 2023 , it has enabled us to evolve further in our digital initiative, with the launch of ding!
We have come a long way, and it took many years of iterations and customer validations to get to where we are now.
Whether you’re engaging with us a valued customer, partnering with us as a forward-thinking business owner or just simply exploring the latest advancements technology has to offer, Progresif is committed to empowering every individual’s journey towards a connected, inclusive and innovative digital future.
