On Thursday, April 28 2022, Progresif Sdn Bhd in partnership with The Young Entrepreneurs Association Brunei (YEAB) organized a donation drive to spread some festive cheers this week by visiting fifteen houses from Brunei Muara and Temburong districts.
The two-day initiative saw Progresif and YEAB handing out Raya hampers to the families to help them prepare for the upcoming festivity.
Progresif’s Corporate Social Responsibility, Amilin Mat Sah said, “Progresif is a company fueled by people with heart. We are in the business of keeping families connected and we strive to go above and beyond for our community. In this festive season, we would like to extend the celebration to socioeconomically challenged families. We hope to alleviate some of their hardship by sharing a few Hari Raya necessities.”
Louis Loo, Vice President, Young Entrepreneurs Association of Brunei, said “YEAB is happy to spread some festive cheer to the less fortunate by providing them with basic supplies and festive goodies. While the festivities may not feel the same this year, we hope our contributions will play a part in making their celebrations feel special. We wish them, and all who are celebrating, a wonderful Hari Raya.”
The activity that has been organized since 2008 is an annual event of the YEAB and is part of its endeavor to involve its members in social awareness and taking part in community work.
