As part of its TRANSFORM 2021 program, Asia Inc Forum convened a virtual townhall forum today, 8 December 2021 with a focus on “Preparing for the Next Normal: What Can We Expect in 2022?”.
Led by a panel of CEOs and moderated by Asia Inc Forum Chairman, Dato Timothy Ong, the forum discussed how the business landscape has changed following the disruption of COVID-19, how businesses can prepare for what lies ahead, and new opportunities in the transition to the post pandemic world. Over 250 participants from Brunei and elsewhere in ASEAN took part.
“This virtual forum was convened to primarily benefit local businesses as they prepare for 2022,” said Andrew Dy, GM Regional Programs of Asia Inc Forum.
As part of this year’s TRANSFORM 2021 program, 30 business webinars had been organized in the lead-up to this virtual forum. The business webinars featured entrepreneurs and experts from Brunei and abroad. Now in its 15th year, this year-long entrepreneurship and local business program is a platform for learning, sharing, and network-building for Brunei businesses.
“Baiduri Bank has been supporting the program since it was first established in 2006 and we are very delighted to know that it has created positive impact and helped a lot of individuals to learn, share and build their network through the program. As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility towards supporting the development of the country’s economy, we will continue to collaborate with entrepreneurship program leaders such as Asia Inc Forum to provide the necessary help that businesses need through this program to co-create their future together”, said Mr Ti Eng Hui, CEO of Baiduri Bank.
He also added “I am glad that through our 15 years of partnership with Asia Inc Forum, we are able to consistently provide useful and beneficial guidance to the local businesses through the program while discussing challenges and solutions that we can learn from to develop ourselves better.”
The TRANSFORM 2021 Program is convened by Asia Inc Forum in collaboration with Baiduri Bank as Presenting Sponsor. It is also supported by Archipelago Group as Logistics Partner, CIC Environmental Services and Progresif as Associate Partners, and Borneo Bulletin and Media Permata as Digital and Print Media Partners.
