Progresif Sdn Bhd (formerly Progresif Cellular Sdn Bhd) is a government-linked company under Darussalam Assets in Brunei Darussalam. Founded in 2014, Progresif started out with offering cellular services, but has since expanded their operations to include the full spectrum of TelCo services and solutions to consumers, small medium enterprises and large scale businesses. Since 2020, Progresif has been steadily progressing to be a digital lifestyle partner with the launch of Progresif Media, Brunei’s first Over-the-top on demand streaming platform and Progresif CARE+, Brunei’s first self-care app with direct carrier billing features. Progresif’s other products in the ecosystem include are a mobile wallet (Progresif PAY), an events and ticketing platform (Progresif Events), and an educational platform (Progresif Minds).
Progresif is a strong supporter of enhancing both the quality of life and economic growth in Brunei Darussalam by directly engaging with various communities. Progresif connects with the community through their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) engagements and strategic CSR pillars, which are Education, Arts and Culture, Entrepreneurship and Environment. Progresif flagship initiatives, Goals for Education and Donate Data, is in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Brunei Darussalam – providing both devices and connectivity for students and schools - to ensure that the delivery of education, especially during the COVID-19 has been as uninterrupted as possible.
Progresif is geared with more than 130 employees, 6 retail stores, 4 pop up locations and a mobile store vehicle – all ready to serve the 200,000 customers they have throughout the country. We have been the first Bruneian TelCo expand to innovatively expand our physical touchpoint – with the introduction of self-service kiosks for the ease of making contactless transactions, and a roaming Progresif Shuttle – to providing our store experience to the rural areas. Progresif recently earned recognition as ‘Mobile Operator of the Year’ and ‘Marketing & Brand Initiative of the Year’ at 2022 Asian Telecom Awards. Progresif was also awarded ‘Employee Experience of the Year’ in The Asian Business Review’s 2021 Asian Experience Award.
